Your New Card
1. Upon approval of your application, cards are typically processed within 3 to 5 days before being mailed.
2. To activate your card, call the number on the sticker attached to your new card—you will need to verify certain information in order to activate the card. Upon being activated, you can begin using it immediately.
3. To change your pin, please call 1-800-992-3808. You cannot change the pin at one of our branches.
Making Payments on Your Card
You have several options to pay your credit card bill:
- Online Transfer — Transfer money from another account to your credit card. Your payment will be credited immediately, and your balance and available credit will be updated. You may also conduct transfers at a branch.
- Online Bill Pay — You can use Online Bill Payment to pay your credit card bill! It takes 2 business days to credit your account and update the balance. For convenience in paying and tracking all your bills, you can set up JHFCU as a Payee. Use your 9-digit JHFCU account number (not the 16-digit card number) and JHFCU's main address: 2027 E Monument St, Baltimore, MD 21205.
- Telebranch 24 — You can use our 24/7 automated phone system to transfer money from a JHFCU account to your credit card balance.
- Check — You may use a check to pay your credit balance sent through the mail or brought in person to a branch.
Credit Card Security
For transaction disputes, your first step is contacting the merchant directly. They can often resolve issues faster by reversing incorrect charges. If the problem persists, you can contact JHFCU, and we'll assist you in filing a claim through Visa. Keep in mind, this process may take up to 120 days.
